51HOME began in 2023 when three friends—an architect, a carpenter and a builder—started restoring heritage terraces around Balmain. Frustrated by uneven subfloors and wafer‑thin veneers, they began importing quality oak and milling local hardwood themselves. Word spread: they didn’t just supply timber, they helped shape homes people genuinely enjoyed.
Fast‑forward two years, they’ve supplied over 100 homes and commercial sites across Sydney. Yet every project still begins with coffee, plans on the table and a simple conversation about lifestyle, acoustics and appearance.
